What we do with your details.
P3 Plant Ltd is the data controller for this website. If you send us an enquiry we use what you give us to price the work and reply to you. Nothing more.
What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form on the contact page: your name, your email address, your phone number if you give one, what you tell us about the job, and any drawing file you attach.
We do not ask for anything else, and there is no account to create.
Why we hold it
To answer your enquiry, measure and price the work, and keep a record of what was quoted. Under UK GDPR our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in running the business and keeping a record of the jobs we have priced.
We will not add you to a mailing list and we do not sell or share your details for marketing.
Who sees it
The estimating team at P3 Plant Ltd. Your enquiry arrives as an email, so it also passes through the company that provides our email and the company that hosts this website. They process it on our instructions and for no other purpose.
If a job goes ahead we may need to pass details to a client, main contractor or supplier so the work can be delivered. We will not pass your details to anyone else without asking you first, unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and the quotes that follow are kept for six years, which covers the period in which a contract dispute could arise, then deleted. Ask us sooner and we will delete what we are not required to keep.
Cookies
This site sets one cookie, and only when you use the enquiry form. It is a security token that stops the form being submitted from somewhere else on your behalf. It is strictly necessary, holds nothing about you, and expires when you close the browser.
The contact page has a map, and it is deliberately not loaded until you press “Show the map”. If you do press it, the map comes from Google, which will see your IP address and may set its own cookies. Leave the button alone and no map is requested.
The typefaces this site uses are served by Google Fonts, so loading any page does tell Google your IP address. No cookie is set by that request.
There is no advertising or tracking on this site.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it. Write to info@p3plant.co.uk or ring 0151 339 0700 and we will deal with it within one month.
If you are not happy with how we have handled it you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
